A decent set of pedals can be one of the best upgrades you can make to your bike. Clipless pedals enable you to become connected to the bike transferring all the energy you create back into the bike. There are many options available depending on what you would like to spend, how much float you require, especially if you have any knee issues (in that case you will need plenty of float and not a fixed cleat) and how light you would like your pedal.
